This Privacy Policy explains what information Channel9Asia ("we", "us") collects when you use channel9asia.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have designed the site to collect as little personal information as possible.

Reading the site

• No reader accounts and no advertising trackers. You can read everything on this site without signing in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Aggregate audience statistics. We count page views to understand which stories are read. These statistics are aggregated; we do not store your IP address or build a profile of you for this purpose.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies or fingerprinting to track individual visitors.
• Security and delivery. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details.

Embedded content

Some articles contain embedded content from YouTube or X (formerly Twitter).

• YouTube videos are shown as a preview image. The video player — and any data collection by YouTube — loads only after you choose to play it, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
• Posts from X are displayed using X's embed script on pages that contain them. When such a page loads, X may receive information about your visit under its own privacy policy.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, subject and message you provide. We use this information only to read and respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of editorial correspondence, including correction requests.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from automated abuse.

Contact submissions are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised members of our editorial team. We do not sell or share them for marketing purposes.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its use. To make a request, use the contact page and choose "Other". We will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version is always published on this page.
